Visitors
We welcome and encourage many regular visitors into the Centre.
Every week we have Waiata hui with Matua Norm and Bonnie - one of our favourite times of the week.
We also regularly welcome Every Educaid - talking about; recycling, worms, rubbish, water…
And then there’s the local volunteer firefighters, the police, ponies, sporting outfits and members of our wonderful whānau sharing their skills and passions.
Fun Happenings
Regular Excursions
We are so lucky to be sited on the Swannanoa School grounds and this enables us to make many regular excursions.
We often visit the goats and chickens, play on the playground, explore the school grounds and bike tracks. Visit assemblies, take part in pet days, watch cross country and athletics.

Special Excursions
We often head off from Preschool to visit the local community and beyond.
We aim that every child at Swannanoa has the opportunity to visit Des Lines our local legend with his own airstrip and many amazing planes. Join us as parent help and you just may get to see Preschool from the air!
We regularly visit the Ohoka Market, we have been to the Rangiora and Kaiapoi Library, the Airforce Museum, Whites Road Reserve, Ohoka Bush Walk and North Canterbury Sports to name a few amazing places!
