COMMITTEE

The role of the committee is to oversee Governance and Management of the Preschool, working towards a plan and a vision for the future ensuring the centre is running well in years to come.

We work towards providing Quality education and care for children and meeting the needs of our families in our community, now and in the future.

We constantly develop and review written Policies and Practices to ensure progress and responsibilities are met as described in our long term Strategic Plan.

It is our responsibility to hear and respond to the views and concerns of our Centre Manager, Educators and Families. Ensuring that buildings are maintained, resources are renewed and general maintenance jobs are kept on top of, allowing staff to fulfil their roles of educating and caring for our children.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance with regards to members of the Preschool - children, families and staff. We will always respect your privacy and invite you to approach us at any time knowing that any information you wish to share will be held in strict confidence.

Our committee is made up of both parents of children attending the centre and staff as follows:

We run our meetings once a month and always have a staff representative attending, alternating between the Under 2's and Over 2's to ensure relative feedback is received and responded to.

Communication is key and we always welcome your comments, feedback and suggestions as we are always striving to be the very best we can be.
